This policy ensures compliance with relevant UK laws, regulations, and professional standards governing healthcare practice.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:

3. Regulatory Compliance
OTs providing virtual consultation services will comply with relevant UK laws, regulations, and professional standards governing continuing education and professional development. This includes:

Adhering to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards for CPD, which require OTs to maintain and enhance their knowledge, skills, and competence throughout their careers.

Complying with any additional requirements or guidelines established by the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT).
4. Continuing Education Requirements
OTs providing virtual consultation services will fulfill continuing education requirements as outlined by the HCPC and the RCOT. This includes:

6. Documentation and Record Keeping
OTs will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of their CPD activities, including evidence of participation, completion certificates, and reflections on learning. This includes:
