This Client Confidentiality and Privacy Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines that Care Home OT follows to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information during virtual consultations conducted by Occupational Therapists in care homes. This policy applies to all Occupational Therapists, care home staff, and residents participating in virtual consultations facilitated by Care Home OT for the provision of Occupational Therapy services. - Confidentiality: All client information shared during virtual consultations, including personal and health-related data, will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Occupational Therapists and care home staff are bound by professional standards and legal obligations to maintain confidentiality.
- Privacy: Client privacy will be respected and protected throughout the virtual consultation process. Measures will be implemented to ensure that client information is accessed, used, and disclosed only for authorised purposes and with appropriate consent.
