A BIT ABOUT US

Care Home OT has been created by Lucy & Janet. 2 Occupational Therapists with a combined 30+ years of practicing experience. Throughout this time they have worked all across the industry, from direct NHS through to the community across various specialisms.

When visiting care homes, the continual theme of, time-frames for appoitnments being too long, has become ever increasing. Leading to Janet and Lucy to come up with Care Home OT, as viable solution to this and other restraints on the current way we do things. 

 

The main objective of Care Home OT is to become a dependable partner for all of the Care Homes, local authorities, NHS boroughs and private organisations we work with. Creating a situation where residents and patients will no longer have to wait to receive the assessments they need.

Following Covid it became clear that the large majority of assessments were capable of being completed virtually, saving both time and cost while not reducing the quality of the assessments, which is how our process was born.
